Parameters

name String: Identifying name of source object needing concurrency locking (e.g., a path and file name).
maximumConcurrentLocks Int32: Maximum concurrent reader locks to allow.

Remarks

If more reader locks are requested than the maximumConcurrentLocks, excess reader locks will simply wait until a lock is available (i.e., one of the existing reads completes).
