Searches for the specified sequenceToFind and returns the index of the first occurrence within the range of elements in the array that starts at the specified index and contains the specified number of elements.

Parameters

array  T
Array to search.
sequenceToFind  T
Sequence of items to search for.
startIndex  Int32
Start index in the array to start searching.
length  Int32
Number of bytes in the array to search through.

Return Value

Int32
The zero-based index of the first occurrence of the sequenceToFind in the array, if found; otherwise, -1.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type T. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
